Mangan, also spelled Mangen or Mangang, town, central Sikkim state, northeastern India. It lies in a deep valley on the east bank of the Tista River, just south of where it joins the Talung River.

Mangan is a trading centre situated on the North Sikkim Highway. It has a hospital, a rest house, and a small hydroelectric power station. A monastery and a secondary school are nearby. Kanchenjunga National Park, centred on Kanchenjunga (the world’s third highest peak), is a short distance to the west and north. Pop. (2001) 1,248; (2011) 4,644.
