Tougué, also called Tongué, town, north-central Guinea, western Africa, on the Fouta Djallon plateau. It is a trading centre (rice, millet, oranges, cattle, and goats) among the Fulani (Peul) people in a savanna region. Bauxite deposits have been discovered south of the town. Pop. (latest est.) 21,900.
